I definitely liked doing Inktober and was really looking forward to it. This time again, I decided to do something different. I wanted to follow the prompts but still fit into an overall theme. I went with Zombies. I really like zombies. This is a theme I keep coming back to so I thought, what the hell, let’s have some fun.
The intention was never to do anything else then the daily illustrations. But something amazing happened when I started posting on social media. My best friend and writer Marc got inspired and started to write little stories for each image. It was an amazing experience to organically start collaborating like that.
After finishing Inktober, I felt I had to do something to commemorate this amazing experience I shared with my best friend. So, I put all the images with the stories into a book. This also gave me a chance to make my first book and learn how all that is done in Adobe InDesign.
If you are interested in checking it out, the book is available as a digital download for free.
